Sonoran Desert Property promotes energy efficient and environmental healthy features of green homes in Tucson, AZ. Green home features help save the environment by lowering a home's carbon footprint while at the same time providing an indoor air quality that enhances the occupants health.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I decides to develope my own website so I could have more control over its content and visual appeal. I did not want to promote such an important message as improving the environment of our planet on a cookie cutter website template. Personal control means a lot to me.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first website was a Virtual Tour company that I used to promote listings for real estate properties.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I chose the name Sonoran Desert Property because I wanted to promote the desert environment to prospective Tucson home buyers. To many real estate agents promote themselves on their websites. I wanted to make Tucson and the beautiful Sonoran Desert the focus of my website. After all the desert and the western life style is a major reason that out of state people move to Tucson.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I think a big difference in my site is the fact that I promote the desert environment and the environmental home features that will help to protect that environment.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My major goal for is to see every home buyer in Tucson purchase a home with at least some green energy efficient features that will help sustain the kind of life style Tucson is known to have.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
