The Bahrain Property Site is designed to be a referance site useful to anyone living in bahrain or thinking of moving to Bahrain. I have included information not only about Apartments and Villas in Bharain but general information and useful links for expats in Bahrain and Worldwide for Hotels,Car Hire and Flights as well as shopping links.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I had spare time and felt there was a gap in the market.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is it and we launched about a year ago.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The initial insperation was for it to be more property based but it anded up being more useful as I found useful links while surfing.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I have tried to make it feel more personal by not using templates so giving a different feel as you go through the site, uniform but different.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To have poeple come back to it often and use it as a reference site and so make some pocket money from it.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I do most of it in my spare time for fun and have found it a huge lerning experiance which I have enjoyed.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would employ someone who new what they were doing and set up an in house low cost travel comparison site.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting in the top ten on google and all the other search engines without help was i little chalenging at times and I still havn't managed it for all my prefered keywords.
