Name of your website?

The Schacter Team - Langley Real Estate

Your name?

Tyler Schacter

Your Location (city, etc)

Langley

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Here you'll find resources to assist you with all your Langley Real Estate needs. Whether you are a first time homebuyer, looking to sell your property, an experienced investor, a contractor/builder, or a land developer, The Schacter Team can provide you with comprehensive real estate solutions for the Langley Real Estate Market (including surrounding areas Walnut Grove, Willoughby, Langley City, Brookswood, Aldergrove, Murrayville and Cloverdale).

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We wanted to have an online presence in order to showcase our listings (hosting virtual tours, floor plans and a host of other information) as well as a forum to provide helpful and relevant real estate information and services.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first website, and it was launched about a year and a half ago. So for it has been a great experience helping it grow and develop.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We chose the name based on our entire business philosophy, which is to provide our clients with and extraordinary real estate experience.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Our website provides an incredible amount of information, with no strings attached. All of the articles, guides, tips, and listings are available to view to anyone who visits our site.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Our goal is to continue to develop and improve our site until it is the #1 real estate site in Langley.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

The amount of time invested into our site considerably outweighs the amount of money invested, as it is self maintained. It's hard to quantify the success we've had from it, but it has allowed us to provide a significantly higher level of service to our clients. In this aspect, it has been a HUGE success.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

There's not a whole lot I would change at this point. I would possibly seek the opinion of a professional on suggested improvements, but as it stands, the site serves it's purpose quite well.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes. We have a team in place, and systems set up to handle all of our client leads.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Only minor software issues.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Nothing really.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Web directories and search engines.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

We have had a better response from it than I expected.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We have been running it for a year and a half, and will continue to run it indefinitely.

What is your website address?
