To swim or not to swim, that is the real (estate) question

For those of you who thought adding a beautiful swimming pool to your property would increase the appeal to prospective buyers, you better think twice before taking a dip.
Pools were once a symbol of up and comers in California during the 50's and 60's, and added several thousands to the home price tag.
Now, with safety issues being considered, as well as the upkeep for a pool, many home buyers are not thrilled when a pool is sitting in the backyard.
