Minimalistic Approach to Cope with the Crashing Economy
10/22/08 19:11
In order to cope up with the crashing economy, Bill and Sharon Kastrinos is now practicing the ultimate minimalism. They've moved from their previous 1,800 square foot home and squeezed into a 154 foot square that looks more of a kids playhouse.
The smaller house cost them $15,000 and spend $15 a month for utilities only against the $1,500 monthly mortgage plus a $160 more for the utilities on their bigger home.
The couple is also building and selling tiny houses and so far sold 11 units just in six months.
