When did you start your website and why?

I started Jenniferkieffer.com in 2004 when I became a Realtor in Yucca Valley Ca. 92284. I thought presence on the world wide web was essential.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

I am a Yucca Valley realtor. I like to handle bpo's. You can search for homes in our area for sale or you can also list your home from my website. I have also included several links on my site to make it more helpful. There is a calculator on the site to see how much home you can afford. Yucca Valley was just voted in the top 10 places to retire in the USA.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Inputting listings takes time, but I enjoy working on my site. Sometimes I will spend hours on it. I am ranked number 18 currently in my state.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

It's fun so it's all easy.

What was your biggest mistake?

Letting my site go for one year. The market crashed and I let my site go for a time period that really hurt my statistics.

Who maintains your website and why?

I maintain my own website because I enjoy it and there is no reason to pay someone else to do it if I can do it on my own.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

I generate leads from my website- people who want to sell and others who are interested in buying property. I just like having presence on the www.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

It's the way to go, Baby!

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

Views? Gah. It's a tough market. All I can say is you better know what your doing when you submit your own site to the web.

Depends on which ones lol
