When did you start your website and why?

A couple of months ago in order to make a functional and easy to use site for greece and cyprus free real estate ads because I was not satisfied with how all these the real estate web sites look and function.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

www.myhome.gr is an online directory where you can place your real estate ads competely free for properties located in Greece and Cyprus. You can also find realtors in your area and many more.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

The script (coding) for searching properties. The script we built is unique and the easiest to use for the end user.

What has been the easiest part of creating your website?

Choosing the colors of the layout.

What was your biggest mistake?

There where lots of mistakes but there were all fixed in the first few days.

Who maintains your website and why?

Myself, because its something that I really enjoy

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

There are 800 ads in myhome.gr after one month. We aim to reach 20,000 ads in one year.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

Ecommerce and internet are the future.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

SEO is not enough. A web site owner has to do much "manual" work such as directory listings, links exchange etc in order to have good search engine rankings.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

They have helped alot because we made www.myhome.gr suitable for bots and crawlers.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

For the moment, Google ad words. You can find a link for that in our web sites main page (www.myhome.gr)

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

Banner exchange.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

Safety in transactions

Why do you believe that www.myhome.gr is the easiest to use real estate web site?

I will not answer that. Check it out at www.myhome.gr !
