Please give us a short summary of your website?

We have 4.2 million square meters to develop on our ocean front property. We have designed an ecological village. This design is meant to inspire investors or land buyers. The Dominican Republic has much to offer in tourism and real estate investment.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

The web site is key to showing our property and what can be done with it.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Around 1999

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It come from the river name Yuma and the small town of Boca de Yuma. Yuma del Mar means Yuma of the ocean.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

It is perhaps not so different than others and uses conventional design technique from around 2003, but is is in 2 languages.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Find investors for the project or sel 4.2 mllion square meters of real estate to other developers.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Land investment dates 20 years.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Hire an international design and marketing team and develop the project directly (using top building firms)

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Probably would need to hire in house specialist or team

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Not many as it is very static so far

What has been your biggest challenge?

None

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

We have used key words, metatags only

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

N/A

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
