Please give us a short summary of your website?

Offers commercial and residential real estate for sale in the Dominican Republic. Specializing in hotels for sale, resorts for sale, businesses for sale, beachfront land for sale and condominiums for sale.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

It was very necessary for promotion to international clientelle.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

November 2006. http://www.dr-remax.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Same as the name of my business

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Ease of use and quick searches of property.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep it.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

A fantastic investment, definitely worth the time and money.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would hire a corporation for ongoing website optimization and promotion.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

No, I will hire more agents.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None, has been great.

What has been your biggest challenge?

The time it takes to promote and maintain a website.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Real estate sites.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Easier than I thought.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

14 months. I plan on keeping it running indefinitely.
