Egypt apartments RedSeaApartments Interview
Name of your website?

RedSeaApartments

Your name?

Salama Salama

Your Location (city, etc)

Marsa Alam, Egypt

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Brand new 3 story apartment building in the rapidly developing Red Sea city of Marsa Alam with deluxe 1 and 2 bedroom apts for sale or rent. Also 7 street level shoppes for business rentals. Website also provides information on the Red Sea in general and Marsa Alam as well as major tourist attractions in Egypt and much other helpful information for visitors to Egypt of any purpose.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

we are the owners/developers of the building and desired to self promote the apartments and shoppes so they can be sold more reasonably

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

we also own and operate a custom swimming pool company in the USA and are in planning now to open for swimming pool construction in the Red Sea area

How did you decide on a name for your website?

since Marsa Alam is located in the Red Sea, it seemed appropriate to name the site, redseaapartments.biz

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Our apartment building is being finished with emphasis on quality construction and American features for finishing. Built in closets in the bedrooms, American style bathrooom and kitchen finishes as well as interior decor assistance being offered. Custom decor for additional ceramic work in the bath and kitchen as well as hand finished murals for wall decoration are just a couple of our interior finish treatments available. We are assisting buyers with every detail so they can select a nice apartment, choose delivery in 3, 6 or 9 months for completion and it can be 100% completed for move in and with furnishings and decor. Payment plans have also been set up according to the move in desired by the purchaser.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

There are 8 1 bedroom apts and 5 2 bedroom apts available for sale or rent. These units are priced to sell and some may be rented for long term rentals. Shoppes below will cater to needs of our residents. A cafe and deli will be opening soon and we are looking for a food/grocery market, restaurant and other businesses to open in the other shop locations. We have about 10 acres in the nearby city of El Quesir which is being developed into a resort with approximately 300 rooms and 20 villas which will have their own private pools.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Success to us is defined as being able to achieve that which we would like to and hopefully to have helped a few people and made the place a little better along the way. Our time is 100% into our projects, it's not like working as we are enjoying the process of seeing it all come together. We recently donated a statue to the city of El Quesir which was built at a major intersection and it has beautified the area. Also, we built a memorial dedicated to the falled soldiers of the Egypt October war. This was constructed in front of the governors office in Hurghada Egypt and will stand in remembrance of those martyrs for the country. We are also working with programs to bring better and more water to the Red Sea area as well as other programs that will better the entire area. Our success will be measured as we are able to complete these projects that will be helpful to the red sea communities.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Our production is limited by the budget. If we had unlimited budget we could accomplish everything at a much faster pace and we could add the other programs that are community minded and which would help those living in the Red Sea area as well as those visiting.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

We are ready to complete everything very quickly and we would hope that the site could get big enough audience to sell the building and enable the projects to complete so those others may begin and we can start bringing in real quality of life improvements to the entire area.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Fortunately, there have been highly qualified individuals assisting in this project which has minimized the headaches associated with such development. The most headache though is funding for the project and hopefully the units can be sold quickly so we might move forward with the other projects in mind.

What has been your biggest challenge?

The biggest challenge has been the distance between California USA and Egypt. Our business in California is doing well and the projects in Egypt are coming along well. We look forward to completing the building in Egypt so that family members can be together again and we plan to spend much time in the Red Sea area. Again, the biggest challenge of all has been the funding so it is with this in mind that the pricing of these apartments in the building has been set so they might sell quickly in that the other projects can get started and completed quickly too.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

We have just started promoting this redseaapartments website and it is too early to say what is the most successful. Hopefully it will be from the blogging you intend to do and from being on your website connections.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

We have our swimming pool company website which has been up and running for several years so this one is just an addition therefore running this new website has not differed from any expectations.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

This website is new but we intend to keep it up indefinitely and plan additional features to the site for other projects as they develop.

Why would anyone want to own an apartment in this building

It is newly constructed, units will be finished to the owners selections of tile and painting as well as decor. The city is so safe and quiet, property values are rising there as it is an up and coming town. The beaches are beautiful, it's a great investment for anyone as there are limited apartments available in Marsa Alam therefore the apartments are easy to rent for any time that the owners might want to rent it. It is popular to buy an apartment here, use it for a month or two for holiday time and then to rent it for the rest of the year. Our building has all the assistance needed to help purchasers to do this and to assist them in every step of the way to owning and maintaining an apartment in this beautiful city of Marsa Alam.
