Florida real estate projects 3D Architectural Renderings Interview
Name of your website?

3D Architectural Renderings

Your name?

J Lunvara

Your Location (city, etc)

Miami - Dubai - Mumbai

Please give us a short summary of your website?

The website is about catering online Architectural Services. Our clients are established Architects, Interior Designers and Real Estate Projects based in USA, UK and UAE. We are mainly into generating 3D Rendered stills, 3D Walkthrough or animation of the proposed structure, Video Profiles of companies and bulk Autocad drafting solutions.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Being an Architect and a Professional 3D Visualizer for past several years, there was a need to setup a small webinterface for my overseas clients. As the market for 3D Visualizations was growing rapidly, I wanted to grab some international projects for self development and varied exposure. This also led me to choose the kind of project which I love to work in. Also we floated our company eRenders.com it was necessary to showcase our portfolio.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Oh the first website floated does not exist anymore, it was in the year 1996. I regret I did not take the backup of the site, and as it was a free site it got eliminated in some months. It was a very basic site with lots of free banners by my host. I still remember the index page and if it still existed, it would have beed listed as a most funny site by the search engines.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I booked the domain eRenders.com. Those days we were all new to eMails and as I was into Renderings which were online based, I had named it as eRenders. This is as simple... eMails and eRenders.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

It is very different in terms of the Services which we offer. This is the only website in the world which offers Live Support for Architectural Renderings. As our clients are based in various countries it was difficult to reply the emails due to time differences. This led me to add a page of Live Instant Support where if anyone leaves a message in my site, it straight comes to my Mobile Phone and the query is answered instantly via live chats.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Well.. Thats is everyone's eventual goal. To get more business and varied clients.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I have spent days and nights constanly developing my website and still I am whenever I get a chance. I never cared for time spent on development as if something has to be done to I have to do it at any cost. I remember a year back working for US client and my work was getting rejected by their clients cause the design changed every week. It was frustrating to work again and again on the same project with the same amount of money. But I never complained and did it for three months.. this investment of time had tightened our ties so much that there was a trust factor which got involved with them.. and today they I am doing business of 14 times more than what I used to do a year back with the same client.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would buy out Google and every hit on its search would lead to my website http://www.erenders.com HaHa... Anyways for me and my kind of work I would buy the latest rendering systems and keep myself updated and would go often on my favourite holidays on the beach, totally cut off from the world. Holidays and Travelling help me develop myself with a cool mind to start off.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes I would at any cost.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

As I am a non technical person, Html was alien to me. But luckily I found out some programs like Mambo and Jhoomla which made my life easier.

What has been your biggest challenge?

SEO...

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Well I would say Google Adwords and Webmaster tools.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I expected a lot of traffic and hits initially... unfortunately I had only 12 genuine visitors every month but after optimization there are atleast 25,000 hits per month since a year.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

hmm this domain since 5 years...and with a previous domain altogether 12 years. Shall keep it for life for my grandsons to see. I have a backup of every update since 2001.

Are you satisfyed with the website ?

No I need more HITS.....Tick Tick....

What is your website address?
