What do Nile monitor lizards have to do with real estate you ask?

06/24/09 16:23

Well, plenty in Cape Coral Florida where it appears that the lizards are taking over real estate at a rapid pace.

There is usually a slowdown in the population in Cape Coral in summer anyway, but the lizards are perhaps making sure it will stay that way.

The economy and resulting recession has put an even more dismal blanket over the picture in Cape Coral where 15,000 to 20,000 homes are in some stage of foreclosure.

This is a must read for those thinking of being a snowbird in Florida's Cape Coral!
