What inspired you to launch your own website?

The competitive market of real estate in Hawaii.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

2000 was the official launch year for our general real estate website. It was much smaller then.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We keep people informed with our monthly newsletter and weekly blog: http://www.jimsandersrealty.com/blog

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

While it would always be nice to see more action, the nature of our business tends to move a bit slower. We get several property requests a month which is fair.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I think creating more of a complete community would be the way to got with a few professionals maintaining and answering pertinent questions.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Sure, we adapt and grow as needed.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting the exposure. There is so much competition, it's easy to find yourself adrift in a sea of competitors.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Building on link popularity and running the blog.

What is your website address?
