Honduras ocean view PropertiesHonduras Interview
Name of your website?

PropertiesHonduras

Your name?

Cesar Castillo

Your Location (city, etc)

La Ceiba, Atlantida

Please give us a short summary of your website?

My website shows some of the properties listed for developments, raw properties, gated communities, beachfront lots and developments, Mountain Communities with Ocean View and River Side etc. It shows great places along the Nombre de Dios Mountain Range which is about 1 mile away from the ocean in the Caribbean Honduras

What inspired you to launch your own website?

To expose, promote and show the beauties in the Main land in the Caribbean and to advertise some developments of our own and others as well.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is the first one

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I was looking for two words that could describe the whole idea of the website.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

First of all the commitment to help others to find a well designed place that could meet with their expectations and to deliver more than expected.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

My eventual goal is to keep it to informe, sell, promote and expose the places we have here and to bring the clients that are looking for a residential tourism.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

The balance have been very gratified. Though sometimes takes a bit more time than expected.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would sure look for the bests. The problem is the everybody claims to be the best and you don`t know if until you try it and wait for the results which will take a lot of time.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Sure, we do have the team to make it happen, civil eng, builders, real estate agents etc.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Promotion in the US is sometimes hard to find what places work and what places do not work. Delay in the permits have been a headache, Financing, Desing have been a headache that was not expected as well as the survey which led to bigger costs in filling a lot of low areas.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Marketing for sure in the USA, it has taken me a lot of deal to get certifications and others in order to market it there.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Buying some spaces in places with good ranking, newspapers, hotels and for sure an optimization with the meta tags and others that I don`t quite understand.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Yes, a lot, it took me a lot of time and tries with different companies to get it half done, mainly with the ranking and design

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I have run the site for a bit more than a year and I plan to continue running for years to come because I do have a lot invested in land that even if the site only brings me a client per year that would be worth it to keep it. Besides that would only mean that there is something wrong with the ranking, promotion etc and not with the site.

What do I have to do to get a better page ranking

I do not know, that is why I am asking you.

What is your website address?
