Name of your website?

Amy Antrim is your Metro Area Real Estate Expert

Your name?

Amy

Your Location (city, etc)

Overland Park

Please give us a short summary of your website?

My website is primarily out there to help people who are looking for a home or wanting to sell their home in the Kansas City area. I also want it to become a place where people can come to get lots of useful information about things to do in Kansas City and the surrounding area with extensive links to all things to do and see around the area.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I know there are a million real estate websites out there but I knew that I could make one that was more informative and useful that the rest.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

My first website I made in college and was the inspiration for my linktoeverythingkc link in my site. I made it so I could keep track of all the neat websites I found and liked in one place. A personal directory if you will or an "easy to get to" favorites page.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It just describes what it is and who I am :)

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

My site is actively maintained and edited. Content is changed and it evolves. So many real estate professionals just pay someone to put a site up and there it sits. They dont even really know whats on their site. I want mine to be more a reflection of myself and will change based on what my clients needs reflect.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To be the site everyone comes to for their real estate needs.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I believe investing in time and people. There are so many people who invest ton's of money to gain success, but in real estate, as I'm sure with so many other professions its personal referal that drives their business. Its where 95% of my business comes from and is where atleast that amount of my resources are invested.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would expand the http://www.amyantrim.com/link-to-everythingkc.asp site so it was glitzy and full of pictures.

What area's of Kansas City do you provide real estate services in?

From Gardner, Olathe, Overland Park, Leawood, Roeland Park, and Prairie Village, to Lee’s Summit, Liberty to Bonner Springs, Parkville and all the places in-between in the Kansas City area we are there and committed to helping you with all your real estate needs!

What is your website address?

I really like the fact you do not do email capture on your mls search, so many agents do. Shows you provide value and I like that! Keep up the good work!!
