Name of your website?

A guide to Kentucky acreage and Farms for sale

Your name?

Laura and Rege Brueggman

Your Location (city, etc)

Hudson and Union Star Kentucky 40145 and 40171

When did you start your website and why?

We started our own web site when we lived in Florida because my husband could not find anyone to build his page for him.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

Our web site was originally designed by us to advertise real estate when my husband was a realtor in Florida, then we moved to Kentucky and are using it to advertise our own properties as we are moving to help our aging parents in another state.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Learning html and adding pictures.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

Getting it to come up in the search engines.

What was your biggest mistake?

Not learning about things such as java.

Who maintains your website and why?

I do because I like doing it and my husband doesn't enjoy computers.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

We sold a lot of houses in Florida, including our own, and now hope to sell our two properties here in Kentucky fast.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

I think the future of the internet is great and soon it will be an every day way of shopping for all, even the stubborn people. I only hope they can keep people from scamming and then maybe more people will trust ecommerce.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

Search engines are great and a big help once you understand how they work.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

More security and less spam

What is your website address?
