Lexington Kentucky Real Estate Interview

By Interviewer at 06/20/09 06:49

Name of your website?

Lexington Kentucky Real Estate

Your name?

Ty Moyer

Your Location (city, etc)

Lexington, Ky

Please give us a short summary of your website?

An excellent website with all original content of great value to anyone interested in Central Kentucky Real Estate.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

To help my Daughter, a Realtor in Central Kentucky, to establish her "Brand" and develop a steady stream of prospective clients with interest in homes in this beautiful part of the Country.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

We started this one about a year ago and the results have been very exciting.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Nature of the business dictated the name.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

All original content

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I have been improving and adding to the website weekly and intend to continue as long as I am able.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I'm retired so time is not much of an issue. I have become an absolute nut on Internet marketing.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I'm happy with the way things are going now!

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

PPC advertising gets expensive but it also has a significant payoff.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Competition is significant and often funded by large organizations.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

SEO and PPC Advertising. Also use a Monthly Newsletter.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It's a lot of work but very rewarding.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

A year and indefinitely.

What's Missing?

I think because of the nature of the business, we get lot's of visitors but I want more conversions and I'm working on it.

What is your website address?
