Xtreme Flat Fee MLS Interview

By Interviewer at 10/12/07 23:26

Name of your website?

Xtreme Flat Fee MLS

Your name?

Norman Domingo

Your Location (city, etc)

Frederick

Please give us a short summary of your website?

We empower Home Sellers who are on budget and cannot afford to pay high commission fees to Real Estate agents to sell their home. We make the Best Tool (MLS) used by Real Estate Agents available to everybody with a small fee of as low as $194.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We would like to capture the For Sale By Owner market. We provide Xtreme Service with Xtreme Savings to consumers.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Last Year. http://www.XRealty.NET

How did you decide on a name for your website?

X stands for eXtreme

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We provide the best value for service. Consumers have direct access to the Broker, in person, phone or e-mail.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To keep it for income.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We noticed that you need to invest time and money to be successfull. We leverage on this by hiring assistants/help off-shore.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We will put more content and invest on cosmetics

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Insurance is costly. The current Real Estate Market has a big effect on revenues as well.

What has been your biggest challenge?

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Google Adword.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Running a website is far more expensive that what we initially thought. Primarily in advertising it.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

This site we have listed is fairly new but we intend to keep it.

How do you keep the privacy and security of your users information?

We do not keep private information such as credit card data on site. We make use of PayPal service so we don't deal with security issues.

What is your website address?
