Describe your blog/
My blog is about Howell, Brighton, Novi and their surrounding areas real estate. We discuss what is happening in the real estate market as well as the mortgage industry. Things that will be taking place in those cities, and the occassional inspirational quote for those that are not having the best day or run of luck.
Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
I personally try to bring people to my blog to inform them about the real estate and mortgage industry, so that when they decide to either sell, purchase, or obtain financing they do not get taken advantage of.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
The blog is part of my main website. I mainly use it, because that was what my webmaster told me to use when I first put my website online.
What do you blog the most about?
It would have to be real estate, and mortgages. Although I'm a huge fan of posting inspirational quotes.
What kind of blogs make you angry?
Not many. I'm pretty open minded and understand that people are going to think and say things that I may not agree with, but that is why it is called an opinion, and not fact.
Give five of your best blogging tips.
That depends on what you are blogging about. I haven't been doing it long enough to give tips, so I would say checkout those that have already done what you are trying to do, and follow their example. I'm not one to try and reinvent the wheel.
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
Politics, and Religion. They do not go well with business.
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
Yes, and not yet. It takes time and patience. My money comes from generating clients through my blog.
How long have you been blogging?
Less than a year. I think.
About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?
Not many. I will read a few, and post comments.
Do you track RSS feeds and if so, how many do you usually track daily?
I'm not sure.
Do you use Digg, and why or why not?
I think that I have it, but I do not use it.
Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?
I know I have used it, but not sure why I should use it.
What promotional techniques work best for you and why?
Blogging, and my website. They are where the majority of my business comes from.
If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?
I haven't read enough to say.
What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?
I haven't had any problems that I know of yet, and I kind of hope to keep it that way.
What are your top five blogging site picks and why?
Like I said a while ago. I haven't been around long enough.
