100s of Bank Owned/Foreclosures on this site. Listings are current/up to date. Counties include Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Allegan and Van Buren.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I found the other foreclosure sites had out of date listings. I provide a site that is both up to date AND totally free.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Originally I launched my website with only my own listings. I have since added all foreclosures in addition to my own.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

REO stands for Real Estate Owned, a common industry term.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

REOmamma.com is a one stop shop for anyone interested in purchasing foreclosed properties at bargain prices. The links to the actual bank inventories assure that my visitors see up to date status and reflect current list prices.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I would like to develop reciprical links by related content providers to increase traffic.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I am satisfied so far.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would like a more user friendly look/feel.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Bogus leads clogging up system/resources.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Conversion is my biggest challenge. While I have 2000 visitors each week, little to no conversion of new leads.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Registering site with blogs and search engines

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I have had it up for several years. I will keep it going as a point for clients to reference pictures in a macro sense.
