Amsterdam, with its free nature, is one of the best choices for an expat to live in. However, this is not as easy as it looks. Housing shortage in the city is very bad, and you don't just have to have the money (a lot of people who intend to live in this city have that, probably more), but you also have to have the right connections and the right reasons.
