Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
Provide information that would interest people moving to the Las Vegas area.
What blogging platform do you do and why?
Drupal. The site was set up by a friend of my husbands. We're very pleased with it.
What do you blog the most about?
Real Estate of course!
What kind of blogs make you angry?
Negative political blogs. People who spout off without having a clue about what they are talking about.
Give five of your best blogging tips.
1. Be honest. 2. Be timely. 3. Check your spelling and grammar!!! 4. Try to include a few pictures. 5. Include your sources.
What are some things you would NEVER blog about?
Politics
Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?
Yes and no. The blog is attached to my real estate site that provides my team leads. Mostly the site information brings in the leads, but some of posts have resulted in client contacts too.
How long have you been blogging?
Several years.

about an hour
Do you track RSS feeds and if so, how many do you usually track daily?
no
Do you use Digg, and why or why not?
Occassionally. Digg can drive a lot of traffic to your site, so if I think a post is important or worthy of Digg, I'll submit it.
Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?
Yes. I like to keep track of sites and it's great for that.
What promotional techniques work best for you and why?
Guest posting is great. You'll gain more readers and links that way. Plus its fun.
If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?
Probably the Bloodhound Blog. It's one of the most popular real estate blogs around, so the exposure would be huge.
What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?
Trying to be everything to everyone. Pick a niche and stick to it.
What are your top five blogging site picks and why?
Bloodhound Blog, Grow a Brain, ActiveRain (a few bloggers there), Mashable, Eric on Search They all offer unique content, well written and researched posts and are never boring.
Have you met anyone offline as a result of your blog?
Yes, I've met several people locally and from out of state as a direct result.
Will you continue to blog?
Absolutely. I think blogging platforms offer anyone a chance to have their voice heard, regardless of their circumstances. From the amount of blogs and blog readers, people are definitely still interested.
