A penthouse that is yet to be finished until 2010 The Royal beachfront development has already sold for $4.495 million, $1 million more than Newcastle's previous apartment prize records.

The penthouse have a 300 degree ocean view around Newcastle Harbour, Stockton and Newcastle Beach.

Records shows that Royal's opening in October weekend sales to VIPs yielded more than $60 million worth of properties.

Fires Ashes 500 mobile homes

Just last week, a wind fueled fast - moving wildfire destroyed about 500 mobile homes in L.A. city's northern foothills, forcing to evacuate thousand of residents for safety.

L.A. Deputy Fire Chief Mario Rueda says that these near hurricane winds made it very difficult for his men to control the fire

According to Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa the mobile homes destroyed didn't cost any lives fortunately.
