Here in Ohio, renters of homes have their rights (I am under the impression that every renter, wherever he/she is located in, has rights). These rights are somewhat modified when the landlords is in front of the face of foreclosure. It is a rather complicated process. But nothing is worse than not knowing anything about these rights. The real estate business offers an opportunity to both sellers and agents. Just like any other transactions and businesses, if there is money involved then be sure that there will be trouble along the way. Trouble in the part of the real estate agent or owner. The number of complaints to the state Department of Commerce against real estate in Ohio rose.
