Who wants to save thousands of dollars on buying or selling a home?

The wave of the future may just be back to the internet again. This time for buying or selling your home.

There are now online-only realtors getting into the real estate game. They post homes for sale, act as a go between for the buyer and seller, handle the paperwork and the closing. They claim that even doing all this work, they will slash the 6% commission that traditional realtors charge.

Redfin is one of the online realtors. They are currently available only in select cities. The National Association of Realtors has been hard at work lobbying against sites like Redfin, mainly because of the threat to the cherished 6% the traditional realtors are charging and GETTING!

I don't know about you, but if I can save a few thousand dollars and get the same result, that is the way I will be going!
