Please give us a short summary of your website?
It didn't take long after my move from New York to Bucks County for me to become captivated by Bucks County architecture and to develop my passion into a career in real estate. My constant source of motivation is my never ending journey of discovering what home means to each and every one of my clients. Home means something so personal and individual to us all.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I'm never satisfied with "business as usual", and always looking for innovative ways to help my clients maximize their success, whether they are buying or selling a home. I want my clients to know that they can count on me to not only guide them through the process but to see the solution in any situation. My clients deserve to have all the latest market information and the best advice, both of which I can provide them with.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
HalliEckhoff.com was launched in October, 2007 and I have received tremendous response from visitors letting me know that they can find everything they need there.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Quite simply I wanted it to include my name so that it was easy to search for. My motto is "keeping the real in real estate" and I feel that I keep true to that in how I do business.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
On my website you will find a wide variety of useful information and resources designed to help you buy or sell a home more effectively in Bucks County and the surrounding areas. From viewing my current listings with detailed descriptions, photos and videos, full MLS searches, free reports, mortgage information, community links and even a guarantee that if you're not satisfied I will not take a commission.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My goal is to continue doing what I love - providing real estate services to Bucks County residents and helping them find their dream home.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I have been in real estate for over 14 years now and have enjoyed many years of success as a top producing agent for Coldwell Banker Hearthside as well as overseeing their Luxury Homes Division. However, I would have to say that my real pay day is seeing my clients smile and breath a sigh of relief as they realize their dreams and find their home - that when I know I am successful.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
With an unlimited budget the possibilities would be endless however, I still feel that my same committment to my client would be there - because it's all about my client. Their goals become my mission.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Absolutely! As a top real estate agent, I do not work alone! I have a team of people that I work with on a daily basis who assist me with every aspect of a real estate transaction. Each member plays a significant role in every part of my real estate transactions.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Mostly the cost of advertising these days, however, with the internet I find there are many avenues to get information out to my clients.
What has been your biggest challenge?
The current market conditions and how the media spins it. Not every market is doing terribly and I want to assure Bucks County residents or anyone interested in relocating to Bucks County that now is a great time to buy or sell your home.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
It's not just one thing. I find that having MLS search capabilities on my website and offering unique marketing techniques along with great followup and commmunications with my clients is the key to getting their properties sold or in helping someone find their home.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I really didn't have any set expectations - I was simply hopeful that people would find my website and agree that I'm providing a valuable service.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It's been running since October and I don't see any chance of me not keeping it running. I have just listed 6 new properties and looking forward to adding more.
