Beside the fact that our website offers more than 400 properties for sale on the Silver Coast, Lisbon coast and Central Portugal, it provides also a lot (really a lot) of useful informations about the regions, legal advice and much more.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I can not say that it was an inspiration, but a real need.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
It was the site that we are actually talking about.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The name of our website is related with the region that we are working and where we have our agencies.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Our website offers much more informations about Portugal in general and property purchase related informations.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Keep it, as we need it!!!
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Excellent...but we are trying to improve and do much better in the future.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would employ several people who do different jobs related to the website which are very time expensive.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, definitely. We are already prepared for it, but our job never will raise a demand which will be uncontrolable. Our work has to be done with quality.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Nothing special...really I do not remember anything which has brought me headaches or unexpected costs...beside the fact of a lot of work (day and night)
What has been your biggest challenge?
SEO - Search Engine Optimization
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Learning, learning and more learning...always studying and a lot of work!
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Better than I thought...quicker than I thought! Once again - due to a lot of work...
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
2 years now...and I will continue as long as things are going!
