Singapore apartments East Living Interview
Name of your website?

East Living

Your name?

Vincey

Your Location (city, etc)

Singapore

Please give us a short summary of your website?

East Living provides investors and homeseekers with listings of Singapore properties, real estate, condominiums and apartments 24/7 and operates very much like a retail front, albeit a virtual one. Visitors will be able to view photos of the properties online at their leisure.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

The ability to showcase real estate at any time and place is a force multiplier. It has further reach and crosses all boundaries of timezones and locations.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

That was a year ago. Somewhere in November 2006.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

East Living hopes to conjure an image of ease and no hassle in finding a property instead of the usual corporate sales style.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Hopefully, its design interface makes it user intuitive so that it is a breeze surfing through the site.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

It will remain as my useful tool in marketing real estate.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

So far it has brought me better sales since utilizing it.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Add forums, add useful info about Singapore, more interactive options for users.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I will find a way to.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Learning how to promote my site and lots of machine language (html usage)

What has been your biggest challenge?

promoting my website!

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

directory submissions have so far been most useful..

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

it is a hell lot of work!

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

It should go on as long as i'm in the real estate line.

Will you really post this in your blog?

I hope so. Thanks!

What is your website address?

East Living
