Name of your website?Relocation Services & Property Management covering the Costa de la Luz and Cadiz province, Andalucia.
Your name?
Paul
Your Location (city, etc)
Jerez de la Frontera, Andalucia
Please give us a short summary of your website?
Full relocation services primarily for English speaking clients looking to live, retire, invest or have a second/holiday home in this beautiful part of Spain. We live here and hopefully the website shows people what a wonderful place Cadiz province and the Costa de la Luz is to live. Also, we give in depth help for people looking to make the move permanent and what to expect, warts and all!
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Our business is 95% internet focussed and at the start it was 99%.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The name came from a long list and in the end we had to use the hyphens in the web address because Spanish Solutions already existed. I think it works really well Spanish Sol-utions, the name explains what we do and the word Sol in Spanish means Sun which shines an average of 300 days a year here so it's appropriate.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Our aim is to focus on our clients objectives. We get to know all of our clients to give them the best service possible. We also live and work here and our local knowledge is invaluable. We charge fixed fees for our services and not commission's saving our clients lots of money. We also source private sellers, again saving our clients money. Shall I go on?
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My eventual goal is to expand and offer a lot more services, some related to relocation & property management but others in a completely different field. This area is very up and coming and the infrastructure is fast becoming very good. I want to keep these ideas under my hat though!
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
That's where I think I am different to most business men, I value the time I can spend with my family and have adopted the Spanish attitude of work to live. Most business men/women will say with that attitude my business will fail. I disagree and I get to see my kids grow up! To answer your question I'd say we have some catching up to do but it's early days yet!
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would employ someone to help with SEO and add quite a few more things as well as develop our members site and probably open a forum if the budget allowed to pay someone to manage it.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Lets see! I would like to think so.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Nothing should be unexpected, business is like life a roller coaster of experiences.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Dealing with process of starting up a business and doing courses in Spanish.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Google and free advertising in directories and such like.
Will you still be here next year and running a profitable business?
YES and YES. Come back and see or as they say "Watch this space" Remember the name SPANISH SOL-UTIONS
