villasupermarketspain links buyers and sellers of property together in one supermarket. Buyers are free. Sellers pay 2% fee only if sold. Wide selection of Villas, Flats, Fincas and land For Sale/Rent or wanted. Those seeking to start a business can also find a list of private property as business opportunities.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
A few of us property owners with properties to sell or rent had bad experience with estate agents and decided to have our own site.We provide a vetted client viewing and check all buyers or sellers. Team is made up of 1 property owner and 1 software engineer & a female telesales.

Feb/2007. Property & property services.You can also place items for sale FREE!

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
The name and the theme
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
We all have between 2 & 4 houses to sell.Then we will sell it. We are also writing a book which will be about our experience here in Spain.Good tips and strong advise, lots of funny stories and why we are still here.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
The site is still young and learning.We are still adding and developping.We dont expect revenue now. Our time is our investment/around 4 hours per day.As they say not given up the day job.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Bring in more design staff.Add our experience to better the site/populate the engines.Bring out a magazine to make the site more visual.We have now put together such for a later date.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Of course.Bring in the cavalry.

asking questions & searching other sites. Learning what the public look for.Free advertising.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It is not an overnight thing.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
1 of us for 7 months and the other 2 for 2 months.For as long as it takes to achieve our target.Not allowing this project to keep us from real earning from our jobs.
