What inspired you to launch your own website?
The lack of financially structured investment deals in the UK. Also, a growing demand for Buy To Let Properties.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is our second version, and launched this year.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It is named after the main company, Bueno Investments Ltd.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
All of the deals are exclusive to us, and we offer a superb client system, with saved properties, searches and a blog written by our own staff and directors.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
The site will always be looking to drive sales, in the end, we hope to become fully reliant on our own site to deliver leads.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
A good balance at the moment, the website has helped us to turn a corner and bring more sales in house, thus advoiding external commission.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
More features and probably a few versions of the site.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
To a degree, but we would bring others into manage.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Development costs, XML newsfeeds for example. Main headaches have been delays, long long delays.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Driving traffic to the site, as every webmaster will know.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
One way linking and press releases.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I had no expectations, have been doing it far to long !
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
6 months in total, and we will never sell the site. It will deliver, it has to.
