Buy and Sell Properties in Virginia Interview

By Interviewer at 06/12/08 09:39

Name of your website?

Buy and Sell Properties in Virginia

Your name?

Dan Zarate

Your Location (city, etc)

Chesapeake

Please give us a short summary of your website?

I provide the upmost customer service and attention to detail for both purchasers and sellers of homes throughout the Hampton Roads area, particularly to first time homeowners, the elderly, investors, and military relocations.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

A lot of sellers and buyers research first over the internet about what's going on to the real estate industry and my goal is to meet the special needs of each customer and client family within the shortest possible time frame. Time is the essence in any transaction. I don't want to waste my time nor do I want to waste my customer time.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I started launching my first lead generating website this year. It was then under www. chooseandsellhomes.com which was lead generating site.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I decided to use www.buyandsell-properties.com rather than my name because I think more consumers will use description words for searching a real estate in the internet.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

My website offers not only homes for sale but includes rental properties in the local market.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To buy and sell real estate in our local market, get most website presence, keep a solid track of income for early retirement.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Don't have it at this time.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, I will create my own team in our office

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Not knowing exactly what lead generation website is, causing me to choose another company to handle my current website at a lesser cost.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Optimizing my current website.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Sphere of influence by email and word of mouth.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Yes, I haven't seen a lot of visitors in my site to date. I've been reading about SEO keywords, meta descriptions, etc and edit my own, but haven't really had any new visitors in my website.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

About 2 months. As long as I am in real estate business.

What is your website address?
