Turner Construction Company's "Green Building Barometer" indicates that 75% of real estate rental building owners, architects, engineers, developers, brokers and others say the credit disaster in America would not discourage them from building green buildings.

Even with our very poor economy, people are still looking for ways to go green and seek LEED certifications for their buildings.

Another fact from the survey included that 70% of homebuyers are more inclined to buy a green home instead of a conventional home in this down market.
