I have an investor who is interested in putting a lien on my home in order for him to get another home and we both will receive a profit from it when he sells the home in 3 months. I wanted to know what is the procedure of putting a lien on my home and what paperwork is involved. Also will I need to know who has the lien on my property come time for it to come off after the 3 months when it is sold? And does it automatically come off once the other home is sold? Or do I have to do something in court?
